Visiting Sannyasi

We are very fortunate that we have an opportunity for the association of His Holiness Prabhavisnu Maharaj - a disciple of His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada, the Founder-Acharya of ISKCON. Maharaj has a long history of service with ISKCON spanning in excess of three decades.

Maharaj entered the renounced order of life (sanyasa) in 1979, dedicating himself to preaching Krishna consciousness around the world. He is also a Governing Body Commissioner (G.B.C.) of ISKCON overseeing preaching work in Australia, New Zealand, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Malaysia and other parts of the world. Maharaj will be arriving at Canberra temple on Tuesday 6th January 2009 and will be leaving the next day.

We will be having a devotional program at the temple involving bhajans, kirtan and enlivening class on devotional topic by maharaj during maharaj visit. Further details as below;
